Diane Haynes

Diane Haynes - Diane has spent her life helping others. Mother of two boys (both now grown and living in Southern California). Diane started her working career as a unit secretary at the hospital, where she helped patients, doctors, and nurses all get what they needed. Then she worked 20 years with the Judicial System. Where she directed and ran the Alternative Sentencing Program ( where she helped defendents fulfill their community service and probationary obligations so that they could get their lives back on track ).

Diane grew up in Southern California and also spent a couple years living in Phoenix Arizona. She moved to Montrose Colorado in 1981 from San Luis Obispo Californa.

Diane received her Colorado Real Estate Brokers License in May of 2003, were she went to work at Century 21 Belair and Associates, Inc.

Now, after that office closing and merging with Century 21 Action Realty, Diane is the "boss" of the "Montrose Gold Team" where she helps people or companies buy and sell houses.

Diane also specializes in Relocation, she knows what it like to move to a new city and not know where to go for the things she needed. Therefore she will being there every step of the way to make you feel comfortable in your new surrounding even after the sale.

Chris Ormsbee

Chris Ormsbee - Has spent his life pursuing his varied interests. From Technology and Software to Trash, Septage, Compost and Recyling, then to Investing and Real Estate.

Graduating from Montrose High School in 1981, Chris went to Colorado State Univeristy where he got a Bachelors of Science Degree in Computer Science in 1986.

After College, Chris went on to work as a Software Engineer developing CAD/CAM applications at Auto-trol Technology in Thorton (Denver) Colorado. Chris left Software Development to move back to Montrose Colorado in 1993 to buy and run his parents Trash Hauling company (Wilson Refuse, Inc.) with his brother Ken Ormsbee. Chris and Ken ran Wilson Refuse for the next 5 years, then decided that United Waste Systems, Inc of Conneticut's offer to purchase the business was too good to refuse... so they sold the company.

Chris stayed on as District Manager for the Montrose, Delta, Ouray and San Miguel County areas and his responsibilities included managing over 40 people and multiple operations, hauling, landfill, and recycling. After 2 years with what became Waste Managment.

Chris used some of his proceeds to purchase and rehabilitate an old warehouse building on W Main St. in Montrose, CO., that he then rented out to small businesses and managed the day to day operations. He also spent a couple years trading stocks on the Internet as a means of generating income.

After losing money in the stock market, Chris decided he better get another "real" job to pay the bills, so he spent 5 years as the Shop Manager for Youngs Manufacturing Inc. where he oversaw and worked in the manufacturing and erection of communications towers.

In the middle of a divorce, when work slowed at Youngs Manufacturing, Chris was laid off and this was when he decided to pursue a career in Selling Real Estate. It was a natural fit because Chris' Mom and Grandmother were both Realtors and Chris grew up "reading" mls books and looking at property. Plus Chris has invested in lots of Real Estate over the years and has lots of first hand experience.

After attending an intensive training program at Jones Real Estate College - Chris got his Colorado Real Estate Brokers License on May 5th, 2005. He went to work for Century 21 Belair and Associates, Inc. where he met Diane Haynes, where she immediately started "bossing him around" (just kidding).

After Century 21 Belair and Associates, Inc was merged with Century 21 Action Realty, Chris approached Diane about forming a team and they did... The Montrose Gold Team.
